Day 86

C'etait pas la meilleure journee, loin de la ! On commence avec des sun cups toute la matinee. Et le debut d'aprem. Et puis le milieu d'aprem egalement. Quand on arrive en haut du col vers 16h on est creves d'avoir autant marche dans les sun cups donc on s'autorise une deuxieme sieste dans la journee ! On repart vers 16h30 en se disant que maintenant ca allait etre facile. On fait le premier mile en moins de 10min en glissant dans la neige. Puis on retrouve un peu de sun cups... ensuite on voit des zones sans neige tout autour mais nous on se retrouvesur une pente super pentue dans les bois et sur la neige evidemment et pour bien terminer la journee, vu que juste avant il y avait une pente enneigee on doit traverser un endroit remplis d'abres morts charries par une avalanche. Mais point positif, ce soir on dort sur un endroit sans neige !

It wasn't the best day, far from it. We start with sun cups all morning. And the beginning of the afternoon. And the middle of it too. When we reach the pass around 16h we're exhausted so we treat ourselves with the second nap of the day. We start hiking again around 16h30 thinking that the rezt of the day should be easy. We hike the first mile in less than 10min by sliding in the snow. Then we find more sun cups... then we can see snow free zones all around us but we have to go in a very steep snowy slope in the woods. And to end the day, as there was a steep snowy slope before, we have to cross a field with the rest of all the dead trees that have been brought here by an avalanch. But on the bright side, tonight we're not camping on snow !
