Day 175

Réveil matinal : 05h T_T c'est seulement la deuxième fois qu'on se réveille aussi tôt sur le trail. Par contre je n'ai jamais été prêt aussi vite, 15min pour sortir du sac tout ranger plier la tente fermer le sac et partir. On retourne à Holden pour profiter du petit dej gratuit qu'ils proposent à toute heure puis on prend la routequi mène aux docks. Il y a une seule route sur ce côté du lac et elle mène des docks à Holden. Il y a une navette un jour sur deux mais on est arrivés le mauvais jour donc il va falloir marcher les 11 miles et comme le bateau arrive à 10h30 on doit commencer tôt. Le bateau nous dépose à l'extrémité nord du lac, de là on profite d'une pause d'1h30 pour se goinfrer dans une boulangerie et récupérer notre colis de nourriture avant de prendre un second bateau pour l'extrémité sud du lac. Avec de la chance et des personnes très sympathiques on arrive à faire du stop jusqu'à la ville où l'on souhaitait arriver ce soir et on va retourner demain matin sur le trail, on sera pile entre la partie de Washington qui est en feu et la partie qui est entrain d'être recouverte de neige !

Early rise : 05h T_T it's only the second time we wake up so early on trail. But first time I've been ready so quickly, only 15min to get out of the sleeping bag,fold everything break down the tent close the backpack and start hiking. We go back to Holden to enjoy the free breakfast they offer at any time then we take the road that leads to the wharfs. In fact there is only one road on this side of the lake, it starts in Holden and ends at the wharfs. There is a shuttle but it runs only four days a week and we got there the wrong day so we'll have to hike the 11miles and as the boat is leaving at 10h30 we have to start early. Theboat dropped us at the northern part of the lake, from there we have a 1h30 transit so we stuff ourselves at a bakery and get our food packages at the post office then take a second boat to the southern part of the lake. With some luck and many nice people we managed to hitch up to the city we wanted to stay at tonight and we'll go back on trail tomorrow morning, right between the part of Washington that is on fire and the part that is being snowed on, choose your poison !
