Day 162

Du presque soleil ! Avoir une tente seche au réveil ça fait vraiment du bien. On commence par un col, arrivé au sommet c'est plutôt animé : les coyotes font un boucan pas possible. Ça doit chasser, et vu les cris qu'on entend ça doit chasser la marmotte. Un peu plus loin c'est un animal moins sympa qui se pointe : je marche tranquillement et sortie de nul part une guêpe vient me piquer. Mais pourquoi tant de haine ? Et pour finir je marche dans la forêt et j'entends un énorme raffut : 4 elks qui s'enfuient après m'avoir vu. D'ailleurs on va passer la soirée à entendre leur cri car ils doivent être en rut. Vous devriez écouter car c'est vraiment joli et on pourrait imaginer que c'est le cri de la licorne plutôt que d'un elk.

Almost sunny ! Having a dry tent in the morning it's really enjoyable. We start with a pass, arriving on top it's pretty lively : the coyotes are making a lot of noise. They must be hunting, and according to the shrieks they must be hunting marmots. A bit further it's a less nicer animal that comes : coming from nowhere a wasp just stung me. Why so much hate? Hasn't been so long since the last sting. And lastly, i was hiking in the forest and i heard a ruckus : 4 elks are running away after seeing me. And we'll spend the evening with their yell in the background cause it must be rut season. And you should listen to it cause we would imagine that this is the sound of a unicorn rather than an elk.
