Day 18

Journee qui se passe plutot bien, je commence par descendre de la montagne en dansant, premiere fois que j'ecoute de la musique depuis que j'ai commence. J'ai quand meme sursaute quand j'ai cru entendre un crotale alors que c'etait des oiseaux... la descente semble interminable, on longe toute la montagne puis un virage nous fait descendre de deux metres puis on longe la montagne dans l'autre sens et ebcore et encore et encore et... vous avez l'idee. Ensuite grande plaine puis on passe sous l'autoroute, c'est la seule ombre disponible mais je ne veux pas m'arreter la malgre la chalehr, alors je continue et finis par manger mon repas dans l'ombre d'un arbre mort, certes on perds du poids sur le trail mais meme comme ca l'ombre avait du mal a me couvrir. Je continue jusqu'a arriver a un centre d'accueil des ranger ou les randonneurs peuvent camper. Mauvaise nouvelle aujourd'hui un enorme groupe d'enfants vient camper, on est donc relegues dans des moins bons endroits et ca va etre bruyant. Tres bonne nouvelle : les enfants ont moins mange que prevu et les ranger nous propose un buffet a volonte de nourriture mexicaine ! Voila comment on aime les fins de journee !

Day went well, i started by going down while dancing : first time i'm listening to music since two weeks. Jumped aside when i thought i heard a ratllesnake when it was just birds... the descent seems to take forever. Go along the mountain, a switchback makes you go down of 2meters and then you go along the mountain the other wag, and again, and again, and again, and... you got the idea. Then huge plain and then you go through an underpass under the highway. That's the only shade available but i don't want to stop there despite the heat. So i push on and at the end i eat my lunch under the shade of a dead tree. We do lose a lot of weight on trail bit even like that the shade of a dead branch can.t really cover me. Then i keep going until i reacj the visitor center of the park i'm currently in, cause they allow hikers to camp there. Baad news : a big group of kids is going to camp there so we can't use the nice campsites and it's gonna be noisy. Super good news : the kids didn't eat as much as expected so the rangers told us that we could have a all you can eat mexican buffet ! Big thanks to them and that's how you like to finish your day.
